While the X86k port runs a tad smoother, adds a couple small options, and adds both new music & opening cinematics, the PC-98 original's just as playable, more so if you want to use text hooking for reading or machine translation

42. Toshokan Senso (Library Wars book 1) by Hiro Arikawa (2006) - amateur translation sucks the life out of this previously fun set of characters. Stuck with more "history" and text feels repetitive. Wish there was a professional translation out there.

Their wording here is awkward, but what actually changed was that there was a rare 1/16 chance that said text crawl would appear over this piece of art in place of the usual one. This chance was removed, presumably for ratings reasons.
