Been mulling over how I feel about Vanguard's match-ups and I think this is where I sit.
Striker is hard because she forces you to play without meter constantly.
Even mostly comes down to whoever has the better spacing and pressure.

In terms of upgrades/power-ups, I imagine attachments could be slotted onto the sides of the belt like the Destream Driver, or on the center like Kuuga/Agito.

I've put a lot of thought into this.
