All of my six fanarts are lined now. Just gotta clean up elements and get to colouring them all. I'm most satisfied with this one, as the expression was something I really wanted to nail.

Flat colours > darker colour gradient shade > 2 colour overlay
add shade and highlight as needed

It's a simple and fun (for me!) way to add depth to any illustration
