I hope you don't mind, but I've had this idea since you posted this and finally got around to actually practice and I think this was a good exercise (he looks more sad in the second one but i was going for a more shy/embarrassed expression 😅)

Been doing a couple art exercises this morning, the first one being a simple shape, and playing with edges. The second is a photo study, applying what I learned as well as trying to play with color.

"It was not for a class or project, but a personal exercise to develop my figure drawing... She’s a reminder to never give up on your beliefs and to always persevere.” Shout out to Hope Stalle on this beautiful piece of work!

Some visual thinking exercises I made for school back in October. We were not allowed to look up any references for this. First is (obviously) the alphabet with random words, second are stickmen in various poses, and the third is my morning routine for when I go to school.

together. These guys can't stay in their lines i swear. I might fix the colours (to make it less obviously a colour palette exercise) and make it into a solo illustration later on, once the character meme is done.

Decided to do a little design exercise and design a dragon based on randomly selected adjectives. The three I got were: Splendid, glossy, amusing.

Something that I would love to do in the near future is revisit my animal hybrid designs. It was so fun getting creative with different animals, and it could make for a fun creature design exercise. It's an idea that will have to wait, but it's one that I've been excited about.
