After the base colors are laid down, I begin fleshing out some of the details, with the focus of finishing the background elements. At this stage, I look to get all of the major components realized and in place, and I begin rendering some of the larger textures and ornaments.
My whole idea on line art needing to be super refined disappeared as soon as I saw the lines in the street fighter 3 promo art. Like there’s obvious great detail in colour, rendering, anatomy, but the lines weren’t super clean
About as tight as I can make the cloth in a physics sim! (Would love for it to be even tighter and skintight but i can't seem to get that look) 💦💦💦
Let's bake this out with a little wiggle animation I have on my derg in there, then I can look into lighting for rendering! 👀
