I had a thought: Captain Toki uses a similar colour scheme to the coat of Le Petit Prince from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Probably not intentional, but neat none the less, considering Tokiya loves books, the stars (and is a prince...) (we do not consider deep themes here, ok?)
