I scrolled through my camera roll and found these sketches and god- I think that's it the best thing I've ever drawn. Lines, shapes, mimics everything. I can't say what exactly I appreciate in these sketches but I think they're a perfection.

Portrait study I finished this week.

Since I paint most of my characters full body, I have the goal to get better at understanding key elements of subject a matter closer to the camera (textures, color nuances, intricate shapes, etc).
