I finally got to Grendel War Child. I wish I could say I clicked to McKeown’s art straight away. A 12 issue series that ends the Grendel lineage and moves Grendel to a ‘religion’. I knew none of that. An epic of frustrated intentions and political mischief. McKeown is brilliant.
