I actually started by basing it on Sonic 2 then realized that SA2 render is like a progression of the pose and how it even carried over and evolved in 3D

which lead me to making an version closer to SA2's version as an alt

Today I finished some Sonic art!

It’s based on the Chao art from SA2 and the “unofficial” Human Sonic art.

I also tried out Uekawa’s style of shading and inking, and I designed Human Shadow myself!

I based the changes more from the SA2 in-game model (in the pic I show below) since it's one of the better looking models/designs of that era. The model does have the white fabric, but the animation hides it. I'd say MY changes are more accurate to the adventure artwork.
