Nicole originally had a brother who was going to be much more justice-oriented than her while Nicole was much more akin to a vigilante. I found the brother character bland so his character was integrated into Nicole to give her more depth

The closest we got to Tynion using it with Cass was in Detective Comics and it's rather one-sided. I'd still kill to see one done with Cass in a more positive light. I'm almost surprised Tynion didn't have Takara go with something akin to this.
