Collab I've made with I'm posting the process because I feel like it's really interesting how it evolved. It's really cool how our styles blended, and it came out really good imo😊

Year 7 have been producing digital patterns while working at home. Here are three excellent examples from Holly Hills, Logan Kerr and Oliver Watts. We love how detailed they are.

I only started doing color sketches recently, that's what saved me from hours of color correction in the final stages, and be more brave with my color palette
Don't worry about mess, the more mess the more colors blended together, and you might find them useful

I really love the composition of the piece and the lineart is really strong. That said, I think that the shading might be a bit over blended. using my old art as an example for comparison, I find that having overall sharper shading tends to look a bit more refined

I finished RECKLESS last night. I really enjoyed that. It blended elements of JACK REACHER and THE EQUALISER and gave it all a Brubaker/Phillips twist. It might actually be my favourite of any Brubaker/Phillips comics I've read, apart from MAYBE the very best CRIMINAL stories.

Joker
I'm too excited for P5S so here's joker. Fun fact: I wanted to make the wings transparent but it didn't work, they blended too much with the bg.

Some initial doodles. I was briefly starting to doubt my galaxy-brained obsession with ancient bird people, but *now*... Profile view and side angles of the skulls really make them look like weird vulture or eagle heads with human cranial elements blended in. https://t.co/GIKZtRRRbG
