I made Naithra's Arcann-whipping saber purple because I wanted it to emulate the original forcesaber from Dawn of the Jedi. I thought, if Marr and Shan are teaching her to use the Force in a new way, it makes sense to throw back to the original weapon.

You may notice that Peri's a lot shorter than usual.
I've been looking at older art of mine and found that Peri was actually rather small compared to today!
I found it rather charming in a way that modern, taller Peri wasn't, and wanted to emulate it again.
