I usually sketch thumbnails by hand and then pull into Procreate on iPad. For digital portraits, I love MaxPack and ShellyBrush brushes! I want to build up my Ps skills, too, but find it less intuitive on a Wacom tablet.

I use clip studio and photoshop. I just use photoshop for small touches. Clip studio cause is one time purchase.
I also use procreate when I'm on my iPad.
