most of my characters are mish-mashes of multiple characters/tropes so bear with me

Michael's inspiration is so muddled in my head mainly because he's been around the longest (along with Mei), but these are the main ones

Evil and Evil. Probably one of my rare favorite tropes that I see. The best example I could give is Devil & King Dice. Mostly this trope is where both characters are evil AND antagonists, have the same goals and views which is why they team up, both strive and aim for power

FS1 Wataru is a jester, this is how Wataru chooses to represent himself and he's not any jester! He's Arleccino which is based on the trope from commedia dell'arte. Arleccino is someone who can be interpreted as either a buffon or a demon in some representations of the work.

one of my favorite combinations of the 'TV development takes forever' and 'Great concept art not being used' tropes was back in 2008 when Konami hired college roommates James Jean and Sam Weber to do art for a Castlevania TV show that wouldn't get made for another 10 years.
