One of my favorite things about drawing/designing are eyes. Mine are pretty simple, but their shape define personalities imo.

@CSwizzle_Dizzle Several of them really are so different than their early versions. I'm already used to Scourge, but Miles is the most drastic one imo, it's hilarious to me that these are the same character apparently.

@areechu It really is great 👉👈 I mean my art got like an instant upgrade when I switch to it. I spend about the same amount of time and effort on a piece and it looks way nicer imo.

I'm curious, what starter Pokémon second stage made you say it looked better than its final? For me it has to be Raboot. Cinderace looked more like a Digimon than a Pokémon. Its colors didn't look right for me. Grovyle comes in 2nd. Don't hate Sceptile, just think its cooler imo.
@sarahkurvinen A cheap trick I use is making male eyes thinner/more slant/sharp edged than females, which I make a bit larger, and then a bit of lines around the edges from wear/long nights/hard work. Eyes and their shape are great at changing the age of a character alone imo
Even with it's faults Puzzle Bobble Universe had the best version of Bub imo
