2005 - 2020
I wasn't born with an ability to draw, I spent my entire life up to this point learning how to do it.
Here's the cool bit, anyone can do this, anyone!

#skillnottalent 2014 vs. 2022
I spent years studying my fundamentals and making terrible drawings on the phone my parents bought me. I loved the process and kept at it, and younger me would lose his mind if he could see me now.
I don't take part of these hashtags a lot but I know I have a lot of old terrible art and couldn't pass this one up. Here's my 2011 and 2022 art. 😬
One thing never changes though, I still draw characters only facing to the left.

Just keep at it. You can and will get better with time 👍🏻
(Unless you don’t work on something like me and backgrounds. That slows down progress)
#SkillNotTalent this is approximately a 10 year difference with the same characters.
Keep going and next thing you know you're surpassing anything you ever imagined you'd be able to create. It's not easy, but a lot of things that are worth it aren't. It takes time.

Just takes time and practice, seeing your own improvement over the years is a really priceless feeling! We all start somewhere, and so can you! #SkillNotTalent
