drawing is a chance to make something others may enjoy. It also tends to be rather rewarding when a new technique you're working on applies itself nicely to a new piece. For example, i used to suck at shading, but with some help from a buddy on discord, now im fairly decent at it

my types of chibi

1-2 are more detailed, have some sharp edges, face and eyes are not too big

4 is least detailed, round body with big head and soft edges, simple colour, not much shading

3 is between 1 and 4

I would say my coloring combined with how I deal with shading has lead to a very distinct style. I wouldn't say it's the best but I also wouldn't say it's forgettable. (also a pic from earlier this year because I was proud of how I did the lighting.)
