A lot of time people will miss the undereye marking. I've also had a few make their ears and hair the base color when they are actually lighter.

I can understand because they are very subtle details, but it does slightly bug me since it doesn't feel "finished" or something...

While usually their scales are completely black, rarely they may be born with white/gray scales as well. This is generally seen as a disadvantage given that they live in darkness, however those with lighter scales are able to stay out in the sun for much longer periods of time.
