Awwww thanks! I was kind of going striking, but warm and comforting.

And his lightsaber is because I've loved golden yellow blades my entire career as a star wars fan. My ref doesn't reflect it, but he has a curved saber as well! So we have that in common too!

Creating illustrations for the 2022 Heritage Classic was a true dream. My style proved to be a good fit for the “industrial” aesthetic of the event, which I further emphasized with rivets & shapes that reflected the machinery present in the steel mills Hamilton is known for.
