actually makes me really happy to have this finally start clicking because i used to really struggle with making my art feel like it occupied room - it always felt too flat/stiff. like. both of these are shaded but one of them feels a lot more like paper cutouts

i overuse the combination of pink and brown so the colors remind of sokayo too much. it would help if his hair wasn’t every shade of pink to exist 😅
