How to give your art some texture and that little OOMPH.

1- choose your chosen final art
2- new layer > softlight or overlay > choose a colour
3- fill in your image
4- adjustment want tool > noise

More noise? Choose your later and resize!

Before and After. Just setting a layer with a full color and then setting it to overlay really helps you adjust the tone/mood of the hues. At least that's what I've found. This could be a beginner tier trick here for all I know, and it's like I just discovered fire XD

thought this might be interesting to share, here's the layers for the shading! 1st pic is a multiply layer with all the main shadows, 2nd pic is blue ambient light (soft light, 50%), 3rd pic is the tentacles because they're special and get their own layer (set to overlay)
