solider/creatures, I like some of the designs and some just feel like better palettes. I think messing with the silhouettes and trying to have fun with familiar archetypes is what has been making this enjoyable. Will probably be making more or not we'll see.

Say what you will about the Zelda CD-i art style, but I personally think it had a (mostly) pretty solid track record for drawing hands.
I've always sucked every ass when it comes to drawing hands, but I think I've genuinely improved since I started imitating this style.

7, YOSHITAKA AMANO. a huge inspiration for me regarding dynamic posing, intricacy in detail and framing. i love how much his stuff flows and feels so organic. also his use of solid black and white for contrast is always so cleverly used and lends so much depth to his pieces.
