While Fate's outfits were really really bad, let's not pretend that at some point the Winx cartoon hadn't lost it's way fashion wise. Having the girls have matching outfit outside of transformations was one the worst choices they could have made.

To rerig game models for the animated series, Bardel animators used a single general-purpose rig that was applied to all pinatas. Due to the cast’s varied body types, this rig had to be altered to apply to each animal. These annotated images show alterations that had to be made.
