Nice catch! I always thought that was just his standard action pose, since I think he did it quite a bit in the 90's animated series.
At least it was redrawn though. I think the U.S. flyer, which was made a bit earlier, simply reused art from the actual comics.

Finally got a panel done with my comic's villaness- the sinisiter Madame Satanika, leader of the Scarlet Twilight cult! Really stuggled with the design on her- modern goth look with 20's flapper / dancer outfit. If it still looks ok to me next week, I guess I'll keep it!
