My current favorite Vietnamese word is “lông bông”. “Lông” means fur and “bông” is synonymous with flowers, but together they signify that spell when young adults haven’t yet settled down and are still fooling around.

#maysia Day 2: Language. Language has always been hard for me. I grew up bilingual. I failed the fourth grade because my Bengali was so bad. I hated learning it as a kid. Though I am happy to have the connection and fluency now. I love languages and would like to learn it better

I'm a monolingual potato that spent a few years teaching myself Japanese. Learning a new language takes A LOT of work so I put it aside when I decide to pursue art seriously. Would love to pick it up again someday. (ง'̀-'́)ง

I honestly couldn't think of anything language inspired to draw except for the taho guy. This guy is basically the Rick Astley in the morning. When you start hearing this guy yell "TaHOOOoooo" you know its a good day to wake up to. I love taho 😭😂
