It does take a little archaeology and linguistic anthropology. Like using the game files to double check spelling choices or comparing across games, since I have very little language ability but plenty of enthusiasm. But honestly that's half the fun 😎

I’ve given a lot of thought to Zeal’s spellcasting and have landed on that it looks like gold leafing that grows on his hands and then flakes off/out into whatever the spell effect is. This isn’t quite the sheen of gold I imagine but gold is hard to color y’all.

I adore this idea. I am a scribes wizard but I absolutely love the spellsword archetype. Very much a thinker and a planner and has a very strong thirst for knowledge. Currently working to translate the divine magics into the arcane schools in a world that doesn't have gods.
