A little comparison, the old ones were from July, I was using a very simple rig that wasn't good for high poly models, I also changed a bit the shader and added some slight AO that actually looked pretty nice

Again look at Miku in comparison. She has the very anime eyes from her artwork from lines to shape. Clouds eyes (minus color) look like a real person's eyes with the shape
