This word anglicizes the Spanish language. It doesn't follow proper spanish grammar. Just because a word ends with -o/-a doesn't mean it established gender roles. A table (una mesa) is feminine by grammar, that doesn't mean it's a "girly" thing.

My current favorite Vietnamese word is “lông bông”. “Lông” means fur and “bông” is synonymous with flowers, but together they signify that spell when young adults haven’t yet settled down and are still fooling around.

Day 2: Language. Language has always been hard for me. I grew up bilingual. I failed the fourth grade because my Bengali was so bad. I hated learning it as a kid. Though I am happy to have the connection and fluency now. I love languages and would like to learn it better
