The Ultraman is a spectacular episode! It's incredible how much emotion Souji Yoshikawa can convey through his stunning storyboards. The whole episode is a gorgeous spectacle of breathtaking shots with an excellent understanding of space and scale.

first pic: aligned properly, so the satellite is farther than the earth's surface
second pic: misaligned (more likely), so the satellite doesn't get farther from sun than the earth's antistellar point gets
(not to scale--the tighter/realistic orbit makes the margins even smaller)

Tried the color palette challenge where you put your iPad in complete greyscale and grabbing a palette off the internet. Paint without knowing the palette and This is the result!

A no-refference, no-plan Saejima i drew on the train 🥰
Did the thing where you use a layer to turn the piece greyscale so you can only see the values and then pick colours at random. Painted all on one layer. I think he came out pretty neat!
