I tried doing a blocky/lineless kind of drawing this time. I did this for you because I'm still really happy about the artwork you made for me!! Hope you like this! :D

I always wanted to try out the chunky blocky paint style. Super Fun. Portrait Study (Day 6).

[oc] sketched him again last night. was feeling tired and released my inhibitions..... i.e. the "blocky" aspect of my art style ended up being taken up a notch and the poses became more loose and MAN i should work on drawing like this when i'm not tired...

Did some hand and foot anatomy practice in today's stream. I made them more blocky for reference in shapes, but once I get the hang of them, I'll try to color them properly!

Rough “Gaddi Torso” study (somewhat)

I just wanted to try drawing a smooth torso vs. the more “exaggerated” blocky types. 🤷‍♀️

It took me some time, but I went ahead and drew Cloud Strife. It was supposed to celebrate his remake design, but I ended up putting together elements of many, from the blocky PS1 model to the edgy KH variant. Is that lazy? Maybe. I should try again soon.

From then on I went to thumbnailing the composition. I've already thought about this a fair bit so I already know what kind of composition I want so I just blocked it in with some colors. Eventually ended up with a circular and sharp portal instead of a blocky stone hedge portal.

Little vs big me, art edition

My little art is very cute but blocky and stiff and also, my fluffiness isn't well defined.

Big art is very detailed I think and I like it alot more. Floofiest
