here's a close up of how the tool sketches with strokes, I like layering them and then when colouring, setting the sketch to an overlay or multiply. It gives it some good depth.

Was feeling the hard desire to draw ANGST so here you go.....

Fun fact, Dantella was drawn in her entirety behind Ceangal thanks to the magic of layering.

Enjoy the angst, I promise next LHPG drawing will be happier XD

Finding the perfect Romana image was tricky, until I found this one from Full Circle - in terrible quality. The finished result required tons of layering and colouring to create something new. Six months on and I'm pretty amazed that it actually worked..!

I've been layering colors and trying to break my brain about how to watercolor.

Ok so I’m finally done with this piece and I am not happy with how the colors turned out but hey I learned a bit more about how to use markers and how marker paper really sucks at layering colors. The pigment bunches up on top of the paper.

Inspired by all the awesome painting going on, thought I'd get back to working on my just a bit of skin layering done on some fanatics but nice to give the new brush a whirl (it's lovely!)

After a week of layering colors, poring over details, and battling the varnish monster, I'm finished.
'The Forever Fire'
Some have said it resembles the Australian bush fires. In a way, it is. Except here...the whole world is burning, not just our friends in Australia.

Layering in watercolours from sketches of Montserrat, catalunya. Larger paintings in organic pigments always surprise and often delight with exciting mixes and eclectic boundaries. French woad in the mix ...

Happy February! This is my newest Bulma cosplay & I’m excited to have an adult Bulma that is not in jeans, a lab coat, or a maternity dress. 😄 I guess my big concern is her wig. Leave it as is or continue trimming and layering to make it more canon?

I’ve only gotten lipstick to actually look opalescent by layering the Kat Von D Alchemy Pallet powder on top of an opaque lipstick, it’s the most pearlescent colour shift powder I’ve come across

Some favourite bits from the exhibition this week: luscious charcoal on canvas, repetitive decorative outlines, sound/music, collage, grids and chaotic layering. Parts of every piece were beautiful!

“Me and my Rain” -17.01.2020

(Gouache, ink and acrylic painting. I also used a combination of details from three different paintings of the same image created by layering in photoshop.)

I see people saying it sounds auto-tuned but I think it’s just a lot.... a lot of layering, their voices layered over each other, like the seven 7’s on the album cover?

if you're doing it digitally, layering progressively lighter shades of gold in the direction of the shine, starting at a dark shade
i use an airbrush tool, then blur
good enough for my own purposes but i'm sure there are more in-depth ways of doing it
