Maybe I'll reread it tomorrow, but I highly recommend checking out the Buscema/Palmer Merlin story in Marvel Preview 22. Some of the finest art I've seen from them. Look at the texture and depth on that bowstring.

Aw, just heard that Tom Palmer died.😢

I've long said he's my fav comic book inker but frankly, he may just be my favorite artist, period. The rare inker my gutter-eye could immediately recognize, there's more than a few pencilers whose work I enjoy best under his inks. RIP

Farewell to the legend, Tom Palmer. In the UK, we were lucky to read Tomb Of Dracula in b/w weekly installments. ( Who needed colour with art like this? ) No slight on his work with other great artists, but he & Gene Colan were THE perfect team. Thanks for the scares, Tom
