Very safe to say I really enjoy the new update to csp and while this is a test of what I can do with a shading aid to show me where lighting can go this is only the beginning of what I can do with this aid which excites me so much that I have a tool that can specifically help me
I wanted to do something to try out the New 3D heads and Shading Assist with CSP 2.0. I made edits with the shading. Not sure if my edits were good though lol
Tool seems useful for starting and getting an idea of shading.

Recently I got and played with the 2.0 release of CSP. I was interested in the version due to the new features. One feature I played with was the shading assist feature, which automatically adds shading to your flat color art. Here's the results and my thoughts in the thread: 1/5
Messing with CSP 2.0 and using Shading Assist to map out the general color and light direction.
CSP has just released an update that automatically adds shadows to your drawings. I did a quick test with this piece and while it still needs some polishing, I believe this is a game changer. It's very useful to at least get a reference of the shadows.

I tried colour assist and i like this preset the most
(left is how preset looks, right is when I went over the layers and refined it a bit with my favourite brush)

upgraded to csp 2.0 and i found that my brushes have become a lot more reactive in brush strokes. also the slight blending improvement is nice ig.
In between commissions, I've been messing around with some of the other features of CSP (instead of continuing to use the turnip pen for everything). Here's a little portrait sketch of an orc-ish dude.
