I'm trying a new style that uses my wrist. Larger gestures and not as many small strokes that are concentrated on my fingers. This will help me warm up when I draw and put less strain on my hand so it doesn't cramp as much.

A giraffe, not a horse, but I draw her hands as split hooves, to give them a hoofy feel but functional as hands. I'm not a big fan of tiny hooves on the end of five fingers. I would draw a horse the same way.

Mahsha stretching while loosening up her fingers. Doing the hands like this was quite difficult but did not take long to resolve. I looked at my own hands as reference instead of looking it up online or using models.
