Create what you want and what makes you happy, not what the current trend is. No one will remember you for that, even if it does fetch a high price right now.

The one visual choice that didn't seem cut from the same cloth was the character designs themselves. They do fit nicely in a nostalgic picture like that, but if anything they just felt extremely inspired by the work of Fumiko Takano - the shapes of the faces especially so

I'm not even gonna lie. I genned this for a challenge a few days ago and completely forgot to post it. On top of that, I forgot what the challenge was!

Attention to detail is an important aspect of my workflow. I find working on details as some sort of meditation that have therapeutic properties. Besides that, attention to detail also differentiates the quality level of the artwork itself.
