Song of Saya is a great visual novel.
I really love it’s portrayal of isolation.
The idea that isolation can create dependency and how this can affect every facet of one’s life negatively.
And despite this, the love created by that dependency feels nonetheless genuine.
Haunting.

YU-NO tells a story that can only be told through the format of a visual novel.
It can feel a bit underdeveloped and the sexual content can hinder the quality, but it truly stood the test of time.
It still feels like a very unique story despite the limitations it had in 1996.
