i've had casimir since i was 15. ive spent years developing his backstory, refining his design, and making him who he is. he means the world to me, and that's not going to change anytime soon.

For speedpaints like this, I go straight to painting under & over the rough sketch.
For more detailed illustrations, I spend a longer amount of time refining the sketch, linework, flatting, and going through several stages of values.
