IMO the biggest victims to these comparisons are monster collector rpgs and platform fighters. These genres are so dominated by both Pokemon and Smash Bros rarely anybody can attempt to make their own game in the genre without thousands labeling them as copycats and nothing more

Great thread, maybe I am being presumptuous but I've also tried to integrate pringling into my own work, here I've diagramed out some examples of my pringling and some re-pringling (kind of hard to master IMO!)

Archie Sonic is cool. I know people are super quick to hate it (Imo rightfully so)

But I wouldn't mind a spin-off Sonic game that would create a whole new storyline for that universe kinda like Injustice.

I don't even want it to connect to OG canon, I'd just want it to be good

I don't TEND to ink smoke/steam/clouds. The brush I use in Clip Studio is "India Ink > Light running ink", I just do overlapping swirlies and the Blend tool when I want it to fade out cleanly. It gets some real nice texture and transparency IMO.

Still trying to get the hang of all that Zbrush Core has to offer sculping wise. And since I needed a subject I decided to go with the X Antibody version of Guilmon for this.

Even went so far as to see how painting with subdivisions work. Came out pretty good imo
