2b's back muscles are so damn defined in-game. Taking an opportunity for some shade/tone study!

As Yuzuru hesitantly extended his hand, Madara suddenly pulled him in, making Yuzuru stumble.

Madara caught him, their faces inches from each other, and spoke in a tone low enough that no one else would hear.

"You've figured it out, right?"

Yeah - the lighting in that image doesn't show his skin tone as well as his original in-game art. (Also I received the picture through Discord, which sometimes messes with the colour settings).

Here's his old character sprites from the game, circa 2017/18.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations epsiode 157 WAS INCREDIBLE!!! what an introduction to not only Kara but to a much darker somber tone the Boruto anime needed and we also got to see the test tubes be shown hinting at a certain someone showing up later! 👀

Hai, selamat pagi :)
Siapa yang videocall sama hari ini?

I wish that you start your day in the right tone and end it with the same tone. Enjoy your glory sunday!

6. Their clothing

Dark and regal, often dark purples, dark greyscale colors, black, silver, bronze and sometimes golden. Very voidy looking, but when in disguise will tone it down a considerable bit. Something like this. May also wear armor instead of robes.

new webcomic page! I have been having some problems and dilemmas on how to handle the tone or the history of my webcomic so maybe i'll take some time to think ...

You might recognize this one as Shanna, she was actually gonna be my orange sherbet O.C. but I liked how the mint green contrasted with her skin tone so I decided to make her mint ice cream! I renamed her Megan last night, I think it fits better now. ^-^

(I'm yt so feel free to tell me it's not my place but)
This is why it bothers me when artists get shit for lightening skin slightly in bright light. Obv actual whitewashing happens A LOT but I've seen people colour pick the tone from the original like "See yours is lighter!" eg.

Usually I put down the base colors for the skin tone/hair color, as well as their usual clothing, but having their overall colors different isn't a bad thing.

Helps needed! In the process of making an awesome game world I'll be needing quite a few unique tieflings.

$4-$5 Patrons choose an Akshaen name, skin tone, and a 'Gifts of Akshae' to mark them and I do the rest!

Seen this thing before in the 90's and how they tried to tone down media before. It'ss around when I saw Netflix She-Ra, Thundercats Roar and Mortal Kombat 11 as well as moral policing after artists who didn't fit their "standards" was when I realized how fucked we were. 3/?

I found a new skin tone favorite from my colored pencils. She is an unnamed bard at the moment. By the way the feathers in her hair are quills. Never know when you may need one.

while disecting my own artwork
Here a few colors that I added for skin tone
which is quite varied due of many things that happens inside the illustration itself
but my eyes (and mind) cant be as limited
please just stop acting rude, keep your narrow mind to yourself

Andrew, shading a face recuquires attention to very fine change in tone and anatomical construciton. I am attaching my old piece, far from perfect, but shows what I mean by fine transitions between light and shadows.

I’ve become fairly good at them. I do not have any completed reference sheet examples just yet but, these should help communicate my understanding.
Note the transformation ref human example isn’t completely finished yet. There are some skin tone subtleties I need to add still.

Human ranger, she needs a description so I've been trying to sketch her to get an idea of what I want her to look like
uhhh she's probs on the shorter side, going for an overall warm-tone, autumny colours
