Actually they were doing a pretty good job with her outfit designs, all different but with familiar elements, but after Rev2 they just keep recycling the red jacket + jeans combo, in re2make and worst Infinite Darkness she literally has the exact same design as Rev2, just lazy.

When designing the main characters for Lotta Svärd, I didn't want anyone to look super Finnish.
That's why Taimi has brown eyes + blonde hair combo, not that uncommon, but different.
Lahja in the other hand has white hair adding fun "anime" variety to the cast.
