The hardest part of pixel art in space is getting the smooth dithering and lighting on gasses. Using a gradient brush at ~50% opacity and the 'Jumble' tool gave me this after a lot of experimenting. Kinda like it!

Some experimenting! Made a copy of the drawing file and threw a BNA style palette on... Ended up unable to figure out where to go at the end but I still had fun with the exercise.
