I especially struggled with Joe's skin tone, since I had envisioned him to be dark-skinned, yet his outfit was also held in mainly dark grays, so I was afraid his features would just get lost. I feel like I pulled it off though.

Something I struggle with in my work is the need to go crazy rendered and tight everywhere(despite the fact that I hate rendering). Thats one thing I tried to focus on avoiding in this exercise, to try and carry more sketch energy to final.
