A little step by step on how I apply shadows😉
First the overall shading, especially around the eyes (I like to just darken the entire eye-area + nose, since it has so many creases), then apply shading on darker areas/creases, such as the eyelids. Then do the highlights last.

In Japan, it is thought that the "Ainu" people who lived in the Shinnoh area (Hokkaido) may have chosen Pokémon with motifs of Blakiston's fish owl, volcanoes, and sea otters, which they believed in!
