@rtmisseschibi @yanniq01 Hair takes me the longest hours too especially during rendering it. But I think it depends on your style I don't really put too much details on hair especially the strands. I don't usually do hair strands and only do the shadows and highlights that looks like this

ive unlocked a new appreciation for ppl tht do lineart all the time i think all the sketchy paintings i did made me forget how time consuming this is actually on top of colouring n rendering...
I really wanna do more painted style pieces.
I enjoy rendering details. ✨
Was real proud with the initial sketch on this one
Always hard to capture the same energy in the final rendering, but I think I was able to get across most of it

@skepchaos Depends on the look your going for. It can Change greatly between pices. I would suggest to keep in mine what the colours of the whole pice are. If they are neutral when rendering lean to more neutral colours. If it’s more bright colours ad some bright colours
I'm experimenting with rendering over the sketch, which is quite different from my usual process but I kinda like it, feels more chaotic.
me doing "flat colored" comms and rendering some parts of the art bc the unrendered version doesnt sit right w me
