Gold's species come in many colors. They tend to have main dark tones followed by lighter ones highlighting marks, eyes, horns, etc. Their eyes have a natural although small glow which is more noticiable when there is lack of other light sources.

So in 2 hours in 30 minutes I was able to get all the way through the sketch, lineart, and flat colors. It’s a little rushed but it turned out ok. I might finish it tomorrow.

I'm not the best at advice or digital painting but here you got all the colors I used for this painting. I basically do digital painting like irl painting. So do most things on one layer and use a brush that kinda blends stuff together when you apply colors.
