Actually, I really love this sequence too. There’s a satisfying weight to each movement. Gintoki and Hijikata struggle and then fling each other, Otae’s punch lingers on the impact, Sougo’s bazooka snaps in place before firing, Yamazaki winds up before serving, etc.

I never realized how AWESOME Strider (2014) is. Part Metroidvania, super action packed, and has fun movement options. And I mean come on... Strider is just a cool character in general. My 2nd playthrough was even better because of better knowledge of progression. Give it a shot!
