The one thing I make sure when I draw Ash: his hair is tucked behind his left ear. I really liked that design in the manga. Anime seems inconsistent about that...they do exist in promo illustration?

but most of the time its covered up /sobsob 😭

-Boring expressions.
-Lego hair.
-Gaping hole noses.
-Obnoxious highlights.
-Rigid and animation-unfriendly character designs.
-Inconsistent storyboarding.
-Responsible for the most underwhelming direction in a DB movie.
Yet, someone thinks we're still in the '90s. WAKE UP.

Hey Poozers - It's Kilowog!
Quick sketch to wind up the day. It's funny, after a little bit of research, I think the almighty Kilowog takes the crown for most inconsistently drawn character. With that in mind, here's my take on the big guy

Honestly though seeing my OCs next to each other like this makes me realize I've made some good progress in differentiating their faces in the past year or so. Part of that is me being wildly inconsistent with them but like. Even just subtle differences help a lot.
