@gunmoony I use references all the time and more than one besides, one part for the legs, another for the hands, then the body, old photos for the backgrounds, I don't see anything wrong with using them as long as they are not exactly the same (the happy tree friends are mine)
Thought I'd share this piece as I'm quite proud of the way it came out! I hope to get more commissions like this in the future, I find night time backgrounds and forests to be really soothing, especially with a spacy sky vwv #werewolf
