I'm not sure if they stated it in the guides, but Trunks used a form that's similar to his Grade 1 form during the Cell Games. He didn't seem to have a significant increase in muscle mass, so maybe he followed Goku's method and attained Grade 4 during the 2nd year in the ROSAT

Idk i dont think this method of “shading” looks “”good”” in a traditional sense, but im enjoying it and its fast lol
