So while it’s a different tunneling animal, “Earth Wyrm” is presumably an attempt to create a similar joke in English, by combining “earthworm” with “wyrm” (a term for a limbless dragon)

Sinnoh seems like a comfy, compact region with little to no obstacles when attempting to travel the whole region. The most danger in Sinnoh would be the freezing Route 216’s deep snow, and climbing Mt. Coronet up to Spear Pillar, which is a good challenge, so Sinnoh is for me.
